Transwestern began allocating Tuesday at its SoCal Needlesdelivery point into California due to nominations exceedingcapacity. About 103,000 MMBtu/d of West of Thoreau capacity wasaffected, the pipeline said.
Amerada Hess, operator of the Sea Robin Gas Processing Plant,notified Sea Robin Pipeline (SRP) that the plant would be taken outof service for required maintenance at midnight last night.Starting with today’s gas day, SRP will not generate LTAnominations until the plant is back in service, which is expectedto be Saturday. Although the plant will not be extractingliequefiable hydrocarbons, it will continue to dehydrate all gasdelivered to it to meet SRP’s water vapor specifications. Thisoutage should not impact any SRP deliveries, the pipeline said.
A one-day maintenance outage of Texas Eastern’s 24-inch systembetween the Lick Creek and Norris City compressor stations, both inthe southern tip of Illinois, is scheduled for Thursday. Based oncurrently scheduled volumes, about 70% of gas received between theLongview (TX) Station and Norris City will be interrupted, TexasEastern said. The pipeline also told shippers the South PassLateral upstream of Venice in southeastern Louisiana was scheduledto capacity and thus no increases were being accepted Tuesday atnine meters on the lateral.
