Southern California Gas reported regaining 340 MMcf/d of withdrawal capacity and 125 MMcf/d of injection capacity at its Goleta storage facility Wednesday following completion of two planned high-inventory shut-in outages.
Citing unforeseen operational circumstances, San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) said it was unable to perform the maintenance it had hoped to conduct on Line 3010 last Saturday. Therefore SDG&E is re-instituting a 24-hour maintenance service interruption on Line 3010 starting at 6 a.m. PST Nov. 19. See the bulletin board for further details.
Questar said its nonbinding Clay Basin Expansion open season indicated sufficient market interest for the pipeline to continue its feasibility study on providing up to 8 Bcf of additional firm storage capacity. Upon successful completion of the study, expected to take six months, Questar will initiate a binding open season seeking market support of the proposed Clay Basin project. Questar anticipates that with timely completion of the study and successful binding market support, along with necessary regulatory and environmental approvals, the expansion could be in service in either the fourth quarter of 2013 or the first quarter of 2014.
