Due to forecasted lower demand this weekend and limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances, three Spectra Energy pipes — Texas Eastern, Algonquin and East Tennessee — are requiring operators of all receipt and delivery points to maintain flat or negative imbalances for the gas days of Saturday and Sunday.

Tennessee added a meter/contract-specific Balancing Alert OFO for three meters on LMSMA Contract 76875 Thursday to an ongoing systemwide OFO Action Alert for all Balancing Parties. The three meters are required to maintain actual daily flow rate not exceeding 2% or 500 Dth, whichever is greater, of scheduled quantities.

Southern Star Central rescinded Thursday a System Critical Notice that went into effect Oct. 8. Storage customers should continue to ensure that accounts do not exceed 100% of their Maximum Storage Quantity, the pipeline said.

Due to unscheduled maintenance starting Friday on the Kountze 100 Line in southeast Texas, three locations will be shut in until further notice, Trunkline said.

NGPL has changed the dates for installation of pigging facilities on its Crossroads Lateral in Cook County, IL, to Nov. 11-Dec.1; previously the schedule was Nov. 4-15. The work will require shut-in of the Crossroads Lake meter, but no other impact is anticipated. NGPL also said Thursday it was lifting a force majeure for northbound flows on the Gulf Coast #1 mainline through Compressor Station 309.
