CIG canceled Wednesday a Strained Operating Condition (SOC) that had been declared Sept. 23 due to high storage inventory levels at that point in the injection season. See the bulletin board for service changes that went into effect upon the ending of the SOC.

Reporting discovery Monday of a pipeline anomaly on the Gulf Coast #1 mainline, NGPL said the force majeure event required a reduction in capacity for any gas received south of Compressor Station 309 that is nominated for delivery north of the station (including storage injections). The outage duration is unknown at this time, NGPL said, adding that effective Wednesday until further notice, it was scheduling Primary Firm and Secondary in-path Firm service to 84% of contract Maximum Daily Quantity northbound out of Segment 27 (through Station 309). Actual nomination levels and changes in pipeline conditions could result in changes to the percentage scheduled (lower or higher) on subsequent gas days, NGPL said, and ITS/AOR and Secondary out-of-path Firm transportation will not be available.
