With Florida temperatures predicted to be in the 90s, Florida Gas Transmission notified market-area customers that it was issuing an Overage Alert Day for Tuesday at 25% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Noting its reduction early this month of west-to-east operational capacity at the Opal Lateral South Constraint (OPS) in Wyoming from 150 MMcf/d to 130 MMcf/d based on operating pressures (see Daily GPI, Sept. 6), CIG said based on evaluation of free flow operating pressure and its impact on delivery capacity, a further cut is necessary. Effective Wednesday until further notice, the capacity will be limited to 115 MMcf/d. OPS is subscribed at 30 MMcf/d, CIG said.

As a result of ongoing planned compressor station maintenance and demand on the east end of its system, capacity allocations will be implemented Wednesday until further notice for the East of Wrens, Savannah Line and Cypress Line groups, Southern said.

TGT made the LLOG-Lake Arthur meter available for nominations starting Wednesday. The Cokinos Energy and Little Chenier-ARCO meters remain shut in until further notice due to unplanned maintenance that began Sept. 14 on the Southwest Supply Lateral.

Southern California Gas reported regaining 170 MMcf/d of withdrawal capacity at its Playa Del Rey storage field Monday after completing the cleaning of withdrawal scrubbers.

During a reservoir test scheduled for Oct. 1-31 at its Clay Basin storage facility, Questar will be unable to inject or withdraw from its balancing account there. As a result, Questar will not be able to accept any imbalance payback nominations to or from the pipeline for those gas days.
