After ending Tuesday a five-day series of System Overrun Limitations (SOL) in all market-area zones, Northern Natural Gas will implement a new SOL Wednesday in only Zone EF.

Destin Pipeline reported being notified by Tri-States Pipeline of a force majeure event that affects the ability of Tri-States to transport natural gas liquids. Since late Monday night, Destin said, it has been unable to provide transportation services for all offshore platforms on its system. Onshore receipt points are not affected, Destin said.

Tennessee declared a force majeure event Tuesday morning for the segment between Station 209 and Main Line Valve 210 after noticing a line pressure drop and identifying a leak in a remote area of Guernsey County, OH. Tennessee said it is preparing to vent gas from this segment, which has been isolated. There was no impact to any homes or roads in the area, nor to customer service, the pipeline said.

Pacific Gas and Electric belatedly issued a systemwide Stage 2 low-inventory OFO for Tuesday but is allowing it to expire Wednesday.

Southern said maintenance by Southeast Supply Header (SESH) that began last Wednesday and cut available capacity at Southern’s interconnect with SESH to zero was being completed Monday and SESH was confirming nominations for Tuesday. Southern canceled the force majeure it had implemented in association with the outage and resumed accepting nominations for Tuesday’s gas day at three other interconnects that had been shut in due to the work.
