Due to reduced takeaway capacity from Bear Creek storage in northwest Louisiana that impacted its ability to maintain linepack, Tennessee said a Critical Day 1 OFO in upstream Zones L, 1 and 2 will become effective Monday for all LMS-PA Balancing Parties. They will be required to maintain “an actual daily flow rate not exceeding a tolerance of 2% of scheduled quantities or 500 Dth, whichever is greater, for underdeliveries into the system and overtakes from the system.” See the bulletin board for other details.

Southern said it had canceled Thursday a Type 6 OFO for short imbalances that began Monday.

Florida Gas Transmission ended Thursday an Overage Alert Day that had been in effect for the previous three days.

Tennessee said Wednesday evening it was responding to a leak that began that afternoon near Station 17 in Wharton County, TX. The segment was isolated and pressures reduced, the pipeline said. No fire or injuries were reported, but the pipeline declared a force majeure event. Tennessee said it did not require any nomination changes for Wednesday’s gas day, but the Egypt Northwest Dehydration meter was required to shut in. Gas is being rerouted and “minimal” customer impact is expected, said spokesman Richard Wheatley.

Texas Eastern said it expects to complete repairs on a unit and return the Entriken (PA) Compressor Station to service sometime during Saturday’s gas day. Although station capacity is being reduced by 225 MMcf/d, there has been no interruption of customer service, said spokeswoman Wendy Olson.

Due to a recent reduction in westbound primary firm nominations through Roosevelt Compressor Station, Northwest said it was lifting Thursday the associated Recall Advisory and OFO that had been issued for the point Nov. 27 in order to reduce primary firm nominations to the operational capacity of 550,000 Dth/d.

TGT said unscheduled maintenance that it began Wednesday on the mainline north of Columbia (LA) Compressor Station, which required the Regency Riverton location to shut in, is now expected to be complete by the start of next Thursday’s gas day. It had previously expected to finish the work Saturday (see Daily GPI, Dec. 8).

Southern California Gas reported restoration of 500 MMcf/d of withdrawal capacity upon completion Wednesday of an inventory expansion project that began Oct. 1 at its Honor Rancho storage facility.

Transco said pigging operations on the 14-inch diameter North Markham Lateral of the Central Texas Gathering System that had been scheduled for Dec. 1-7 have been extended through Monday. Three locations on the lateral will remain unavailable for flow until then.

Citing current weather conditions on its system, TGT said customers utilizing Hourly Overrun Transportation, Delivery Point Loan or Imbalance Payback north of Jeffersontown (KY) Compressor Station may be interrupted on a daily basis. Information on locations north of Jeffersontown can be found in the Operationally Available Capacity report on its GasQuest website, the pipeline added.
