Saying it had limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances, Tennessee issued a systemwide Imbalance Warning effective Saturday that barred the creation of positive daily imbalances.

Northwest reported being informed by the Jackson Prairie storage operator that the facility would be shut in for an annual bottom hole pressure test from Saturday through the coming Thursday. The new start date is two days earlier than previously communicated, Northwest said (see Daily GPI, Sept. 30). During this period no injection or withdrawal nominations will be accepted. Northwest will resume accepting Jackson Prairie nominations for the Oct. 8 gas day.

El Paso said it was shutting in the IML20EST receipt point Thursday due to gas quality issues until further notice.

ANR reminded all DDS and MBS customers that by Oct. 31 they must ensure that their storage account balances are equal to or less than the Sept. 15 allocated ending balance level.

Citing “unforeseen operational issues,” Kern River said it was required to limit operational capacity at the Veyo Compressor Station to 2,132,000 Dth Friday and to 2,101,000 Dth Saturday. It anticipated returning Veyo to default capacity of 2,198,000 Dth effective with Sunday’s gas day.
