Pacific Gas and Electric did not issue a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Wednesday on its California Gas Transmission system until Tuesday evening. It extended the OFO through at least Thursday and tightened the tolerance for positive daily imbalances from 13% to 5%.

El Paso said Wednesday it had experienced a turbine failure at its Gallup C Compressor Station. The unit incurred extensive internal damage that will require a complete overhaul, the pipeline said. Declaring a force majeure event, El Paso said it has reduced San Juan Basin/San Juan Mainline capacity by 295 MMcf/d while the unit remains out of service, which is expected to last through the end of July.

Southwest Gas reminded customers that the Hold Burn to Scheduled Quantities notice that it issued last Friday due to low linepack on upstream pipeline supplier Kern River was still in effect until further notice.
