For the second day in a row Southern California Gas appeared to be about to end a high-linepack OFO, but Thursday afternoon it said the OFO was being extended through at least Friday.

Citing gas quality issues, ANR said Thursday it was shutting in the South Marsh Island 18 receipt point offshore Louisiana until further notice.

Northern Natural Gas said Thursday it has neither seen a decrease in carbon dioxide (CO2) levels at its Trailblazer interconnect (see Daily GPI, April 7) nor “received any information that leads it to believe that the CO2 levels are likely to be reduced from the current levels.” Based on projected market-area loads and expected flows from the Demarc location, Northern said it expected to schedule 100,000-175,000 Dth/d at the Trailblazer interconnect for the gas days of Friday through Monday. “Volumes are being reduced at the Trailblazer interconnect due to less gas being received from receipt points south of Beatrice [NE],” the pipeline said. “Receipts south of Beatrice are required to blend CO2 from Trailblazer to acceptable levels.”

Rockies Express (REX) said it would complete repairs to a damaged cable on the variable frequency transformer at its Cheyenne Compressor Station sometime Thursday, and effective for Friday’s gas day until further notice REX is scheduling quantities through Segment 200 back to full capacity.
