Citing forecasts of low temperatures in its market area, Northern Natural Gas said it is expanding a System Overrun Limitation for Zone EF that had been in effect for Tuesday and Wednesday into Zones ABC and D Thursday. The pipeline also declared a force majeure at the Palmyra (NE) Compressor Station, saying it had encountered mechanical issues with Unit 26. The outage, expected to last “several days,” is reducing capacity through Palmyra by 120,000 MMBtu/d, affecting both the Palmyra North and Oakland groups downstream of the Palmyra constraint point, Northern said. However, based on current and forecasted loads, it did not expect allocations of these groups.

Due to cold weather in its service area, MRT is issuing a System Protection Warning effective Thursday until further notice.

Dominion told shippers that due to the current and projected weather and requirements on its PL-1 system, effective Thursday until further notice there will be no capacity in that segment for either interruptible or “non-PL-1” transportation. Also, there will be no interruptible or secondary capacity available at systems north of the Sabinsville Junction and Stateline facilities in the northern (New York) portion of its operating area, Dominion said. See the bulletin board for further details and affected meters.

ANR lifted Wednesday all capacity restrictions at its St. Landry/FL INT interconnect with Florida Gas Transmission in South Louisiana.
