Northern Natural Gas declared a System Overrun Limitation for Tuesday in market-area Zone EF due to low temperatures forecasted for that area of its system.

Effective until further notice, Las Vegas-based LDC Southwest Gas issued a Hold Burn to Scheduled Quantities notice due to requests from upstream pipelines to draft gas that had been banked over the last several days.

In a related notice, Kern River said Monday linepack had increased by more than 450,000 Dth over the past five days “due to excessive banking by delivery point operators, and Kern River is now unable to receive all scheduled supplies.” It requested that all shippers and operators take the necessary measures to be on rate. If banking continues, Kern River said it will “take whatever actions are necessary to maintain operational integrity beginning with Cycle 3” nominations during Monday’s gas day, which could include allocation of deliveries at those locations that continue to schedule more gas than their physical deliveries.

MRT said Monday it was lifting a System Protection Warning that had been implemented Saturday due to forecasts of relatively high temperatures in its service area.
