Rockies Express (REX) reported identifying a damaged cable on one of the variable frequency drive transformers Tuesday evening during scheduled maintenance at its Cheyenne Compressor Station in Weld County, CO. REX said it was estimating that the repairs “may be completed on or about Thursday,” but the date was subject to change depending on the availability of a replacement cable. It declared a force majeure event and said volumes through Segment 200 are limited to 1,550,000 Dth/d until further notice, which means “AOR/IT, secondary and primary FT quantities are at risk of not being fully scheduled.”
