Tennessee declared a force majeure event and required the shut-in of the Vermilion 261A meter in order to repair a leak on its 509A-1200/509A-1100 Line offshore southwest Louisiana. Tennessee said Monday it is not requiring any adjustments to nominations for the meter at this time, but requires that physical flows be kept to zero until further notice.

Trunkline reported completing unscheduled maintenance on offshore Louisiana Line 319B-3800 between the South Timbalier 175 and Ewing Bank 826 platforms, and said it had resume accepting nominations for Tuesday’s gas day at six previously shut-in locations.

Williams Field Services (WFS) said because of the force majeure declared Monday by Rockies Express (REX) at the pipeline’s Cheyenne Compressor Station (see Daily GPI, March 9), which caused the curtailment of REX Cycle 3 nominations for Monday, WFS “strongly encourages shippers to remarket their gas to another pipeline for Cycle 4 and forward to avoid holding gas back in the field.”

NOVA said it will complete a continuing pressure test on the 20-inch diameter a few days ahead of schedule and effective with the start of Thursday’s gas day will lift a restriction on FT-R service at 11 stations. However, with the testing completed the previous 100% IT-R restriction will again be in place effective Thursday for all stations within Segment 1, NOVA said.

Southern California Gas, saying it had lost 750 MMcf/d of withdrawal capacity at its Aliso Canyon storage facility due to maintenance on two dehydration heat exchangers that is expected to last through March 19, added that Aliso Canyon injection capacity was reduced by 75 MMc/d Tuesday through Thursday this week due to annual fogging system maintenance and recommissioning.

El Paso it began a Line 3201 class change Tuesday (postponed from a previously scheduled March 1 start due to weather-related circumstances) that will reduce estimated base capacity of 2,860 MMcf/d for San Juan Basin and the San Juan Mainline by 155 MMcf/d through March 31.
