Citing “extremely cold weather, a shortage of supply from interconnects and the Jackson Prairie facility, and excessive drafting” of its system, Northwest declared Wednesday a Same-Day Stage I (5% imbalance tolerance) Overrun Entitlement for all receiving parties north of the Kemmerer Compressor Station, including the Spokane, Wenatchee and Grants Pass laterals. Northwest also said a Stage I (3% tolerance) Overrun Entitlement would begin Thursday until further notice. The Jackson Prairie storage facility is experiencing compression problems and can only deliver about 700,000 Dth/d currently, the pipeline said, and thus Jackson Prairie withdrawal nominations will be limited to 700,000 Dth/d until further notice. Northwest also reminded customers that OFOs remain in effect at the Kemmerer and Roosevelt compressor stations “and customers should take this into consideration when obtaining supply.”
