Northern Natural Gas reported late Tuesday that Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System (MOPS), which it operates, had encountered an unexpected mechanical failure of the dehydration system on its onshore facilities near Tivoli, TX. “Crews are assessing the damage and determining the scope of repairs necessary to return the facility to service,” Northern said. Until then MOPS has been shut in, affecting 18 receipt points and seven delivery points (see the bulletin board for list).

Pacific Gas and Electric did not extend a systemwide Stage 3 high-inventory OFO beyond Wednesday.

Northwest said available capacity at the Jackson Prairie storage facility on its system remained at approximately 350,000 Dth Tuesday, and firm injections into the facility will continue to be limited to the lesser of 125,000 Dth/d or the remaining available capacity.

TGT said it had completed maintenance at the Morgan City (LA) Compressor Station and returned to normal operating capacities south of the station Wednesday.
