Citing forecasts of around 90 degrees in Florida and high utilization of its capacity, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers Tuesday with a 25% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.
Northwest said it has been able to move balancing gas from the Clay Basin to Jackson Prairie storage facilities, and thus effective Wednesday it will be allowing flows of alternate gas at the Meacham Compressor Station up to the design capacity of 440,000 Dth/d. As of Monday the remaining available capacity at Jackson Prairie was about 555,000 Dth, Northwest said, and available firm injection capacity there was 125,000 Dth/d.
Questar posted an OFO for ISS customers at its Clay Basin storage facility, saying those with a negative inventory balance as of Aug. 31 resulting from month-end allocation of storage fuel must transfer gas in place to bring the inventory to zero by the end of business on Sept. 30. “An in-place transfer is required to remedy the negative inventory so that further storage fuel will not be allocated in September,” the pipeline said. It added that any ISS contract with a remaining negative inventory after Sept. 30 will be terminated and the balance cashed out according to Questar’s tariff.
