Citing its high levels of working gas storage, TGT said starting Saturday (Sept. 5) it would stop accepting nominations for short-term interruptible injections and parking service until further notice. Any quantities currently parked have until the end of the month to be withdrawn, the pipeline said, adding that in the event of operational conditions prohibiting the unparking of all such quantities, it will allow until the end of October the unparking of any carryover gas. Withdrawals will be permitted under the SNS rate schedule, TGT said, but SNS injections will be performed on a best-efforts basis.

Due to “a significant decline” in its balancing gas in the Jackson Prairie storage facility, Northwest planned to begin transporting up to 50,000 Dth/d of balancing gas from Questar‘s Clay Basin facility to Jackson Prairie Saturday (Sept. 5). Alternate gas will be cut through the Kemmerer and Meacham compressor stations as necessary to transport the balancing gas, Northwest said.

Due to required equipment maintenance planned for about 12 hours Wednesday by CDMMAX at its Grand Chenier Gas Plant in Cameron Parish, LA, Tennessee said it will discontinue deliveries to the plant during this period. It will require that all deliveries into its system from 32 meters upstream of the plant (see a list on the bulletin board) be shut in by 7 a.m. CDT that morning while the CDMMAX work takes place. Once the maintenance has been completed and the plant is ready to restart operations, Tennessee will inform meter operators when it is acceptable to resume deliveries. To minimize imbalances, Tennessee asked that producers and shippers reduce their nominations from the affected meters to 50% or less of normal daily volumes for Wednesday’s gas day.

In preparation for future in-line inspections (smart pigging), Transco said it will be making facility modifications on Line C of its Southeast Louisiana Lateral near Gibson, LA, from Tuesday through Sept. 19. See the bulletin board for a list of 42 locations where Transco will not be accepting nominations during this work. The pipeline said it currently receives in aggregate about 200,000 Dth/d from those points.
