Tennessee initiated storage constraints Saturday that included no injections or transfers into interruptible accounts. See the bulletin board for other restrictions that will remain in effect until further notice.

Southern Star Central earlier this month joined the list of pipelines barring interruptible storage injections. See the bulletin board for a Friday update on other storage restrictions that Southern Star said will remain in effect until Aug. 1 and, if not observed, could result in an OFO “on short notice.”

In an update Friday on a force majeure event that occurred Thursday evening at Arlington Compressor Station in Carbon County, WY, Rockies Express (REX) said it was able to raise a limit on quantities scheduled through Segment 140 from 1,550,000 Dth/d to 1,600,000 Dth/d until further notice. “At this level of scheduled quantities, AOR/IT, secondary [and] primary FT quantities are still at risk of not being fully scheduled,” REX said. It estimated that the station will be unavailable through at least Monday.

Over the previous few days primary nominations southbound through the La Plata B Compressor Station exceeded the operationally available capacity of 348,000 Dth/d, Northwest said Thursday afternoon. If such nominations continue to exceed 348,000 Dth/d, Northwest said, it may issue a Notice of Recall and declare an OFO in order to meet contractual obligations. “This situation could be alleviated if north-flowing shippers voluntarily acquire a portion of their supply south of La Plata B,” the pipeline added.

In a “Hurricane Ike Update,” ANR said it had successfully inspected and cleared the Eugene Island 275 receipt point for nominations effective with last Friday’s gas day. Fourteen other locations offshore Louisiana are still unavailable for service as a result of Ike, ANR said.
