Baja Path capacity on the California Gas Transmission system of Pacific Gas & Electric will be limited to 830 MMcf/d, or 70% of normal, Wednesday and Thursday while a section of Line 300A is replaced. Another reduction to 1,050 MMcf/d (92%) will occur May 12-18 during hydro testing of the line.

Gulf South said Tuesday it anticipates scheduling only primary firm capacity for deliveries on Index 300 downstream of Kiln Compressor Station until further notice, “based upon current primary utilization and operating conditions.” It identified three locations that “will be evaluated as beneficial receipts in the subject scheduling group” (see the bulletin board for list).

El Paso said the operator of the Yucca Butte receipt point in its Waha Pooling Area, which was shut in Friday due to gas quality issues (see Daily GPI, May 4), has been granted a two-week waiver for the issues in question. The location has become available for scheduling again until May 18, the pipeline said. “At that time the issue will be reevaluated to determine if additional action needs to be taken.”
