Projecting that linepack on its California Gas Transmission system would be slipping slightly below minimum target levels from Wednesday through Friday, Pacific Gas & Electric issued a customer-specific low-inventory OFO for Thursday.

After ending a cold weather-based System Protection Warning (SPW) Wednesday, MRT cited forecasts of high temperatures in its service area in issuing an SPW effective Thursday. See the bulletin board for SPW conditions.

Florida Gas Transmission ended Wednesday an Overage Alert Day that had been in effect for the previous two days.

CIG declared a force majeure event in reporting an unforeseen mechanical outage Wednesday at Morton Compressor Station (MRC) south of Springfield, CO in Segment Number 118. It planed to reduce physical flows at MRC from 382 MMcf/d to 360 MMcf/d Thursday. Firm capacity at the station is subscribed at 365 MMcf/d, CIG said, adding that while physical flows will fall short of the subscribed capacity, it will fulfill firm nominations through MRC. CIG estimated that repairs will be completed March 13.

Nautilus Pipeline is requesting bids for its purchase of about 210,000 Dth, with deliveries estimated to begin Monday at the Manta Ray meter at Ship Shoal 207. The gas will be used for replacement linepack related to the repairs of its system (see Daily GPI, Feb. 3), Nautilus said. Bids should be submitted by e-mail to kevin.lafferty@enbridge.com no later than noon CST Friday. Nautilus had estimated Monday that if all goes as planned and weather permitting, repairs were estimated to take another 10-15 days.
