After rescinding Monday FTNN (Firm Transportation No-Notice) Hourly Limit and Conform Transportation Services to Scheduled Nominations OFOs that it had implemented last week for seven utility meters in New York state (see Daily GPI, Jan. 6), Dominion said the same OFOs will be reinstated Friday for the same New York meters.

Southwest Gas declared a “hold to burn” notice, effective Tuesday until further notice, due to low linepack on its system and shipper drafting on Kern River. Kern River continued to report low linepack Wednesday in the two farthest downstream of its four segments.

MRT has scheduled critical maintenance for Jan. 13-Feb. 16 at its Unionville storage facility. The maintenance will leave MRT unable to perform injections, and thus the pipeline said that during warm weather within this period these conditions will be in effect: (1) MRT may not schedule any volumes that result in a daily long position; (2) it may not accept any makeup of short imbalance positions; and (3) it may not schedule IT, AOR or secondary firm transportation volumes to storage. MRT said it may also not allocate secondary firm transportation on a No-Notice basis.

Southern California Gas said it will lose 300 MMcf/d of injection capacity due to extensive maintenance starting Monday at its Aliso Canyon storage facility. The work is expected to continue through March 15.

Transco is holding a binding open season through Jan. 26 for 250,000 Dth/d of firm transportation service through an approximately 0.88-mile pipeline extending from Transco’s mainline near milepost 1816.72 in Essex County, NJ, to an interconnect in the county with a proposed pipeline that will be acquired by Transco, all of which comprise its proposed Bayonne Delivery Lateral Project. The proposed in-service date for the connecting pipeline is July 1, 2010. See the bulletin board for further details.
