As of today Sonat is extending application of an OFO Type 3 thattook effect Tuesday for four segments (see Daily GPI, Nov. 30) to the Birmingham Group and SouthMain Zone 3.

Transco said it will have zero IT and Secondary FT serviceavailable in Tiers I, II and III (from southeast Louisiana to Zone6 in the Northeast) today until further notice.

CIG said shipper compliance with the Strained Operating Conditionnotice issued Nov. 22 (see Daily GPI,Nov. 23) has alleviated the pipeline’s system balancing andstorage injection concerns. Thus the SOC will be lifted today.

Northwest told customers Tuesday that due to delays in coding andtesting beyond its control, a programming change in capacityallocation procedures will not be implemented today as originallyplanned (see Daily GPI, Nov. 22). Thechange, intended to lessen the need for enforcing OFOs, would cut anynew intraday nominations that exceed the capacity limit of a point orthroughput corridor. Northwest estimated it will take about a week toput the change into effect, saying it will give at least 48 hours’advance notice of implementation on its bulletin board.

CIG has delayed work on the Parachute Lateral in Wyoming,originally scheduled for Dec. 7-10, to an unspecified time. Unitswill be out of service at various times next month at the KitCarson and Springfield Stations in Colorado and at Lakin Station inKansas. There will be minor capacity cutbacks but impact on serviceis expected to be minimal in each case, CIG said.
