Florida Gas Transmission followed up on a Tuesday warning of a potential Overage Alert Day by actually issuing one Wednesday, citing forecasts of 90-degree weather in its Florida market area. The tolerance for negative daily imbalances was set at 25%.

TGT said scheduled pipe maintenance by Columbia Gas will require that receipts from TGT at the Lebanon-Columbia Gas interconnect be shut in. The outage begins Monday and will last for two weeks, TGT said. It also canceled for the rest of 2008 maintenance and construction that had been scheduled to begin Monday at the Morgan City Compressor Station in South Louisiana.

Noting that construction continues on the Southeast Supply Header Pipeline, Southern Natural Gas said it was informed by the line’s operator that service could begin in early- to mid-September. FERC issued a final environmental impact statement for Southeast nearly a year ago (see Daily GPI, Aug. 13, 2007).
