Florida Gas Transmission postponed until further notice thereplacement of 120 feet of 36-inch pipe under High 331 betweenStations 12 and 13 in the Florida Panhandle, and also canceled theassociated Overage Alert Day east of Station 12. The project had beenscheduled for Thanksgiving Day (see Daily GPI, Nov. 16). FGT still planned to take Station14 down to tie in additional facilities but delayed the start date byone day to Saturday (Nov. 27). That outage is expected to lastthrough Dec. 1 and limits market area deliveries to about 1.3Bcf/d. However, FGT removed the Overage Alert Day notice that waspreviously posted for the work.

Koch Gateway has reduced capacity on its West 30-inch Line(Index 129) by 75 MMcf/d until further notice due to unscheduledrepairs at the Clarence (LA) Compressor Station.

An unscheduled outage of Unit #1 at the Burton Creek CompressorStation reduced NOVA’s ABC (Alberta/British Columbia border)capacity to about 2,473 MMcf/d Wednesday. Due to nominationsexceeding that capability, NOVA cut ABC firm service to 94.7% ofcontract demand.

Columbia Gas Transmission is holding an open season through Dec.7 to assess interest in a potential system expansion and extensionto the Philadelphia area. Firm expansion capacity would beavailable from several receipt points to a delivery point nearWilmington in New Castle County, DE on the west bank of theDelaware River. In Market Area 21, receipts could come frominterconnects with Tennessee, Transco and the proposed MillenniumPipeline. In Market Area 23, the available receipt points would beinterconnects with Texas Eastern in either Lehigh County, PA orChester County, PA. Extension capacity is proposed as a to-be-filedFirm Lateral Transportation Service rate schedule applying to a newpipeline about 10 miles long from the Wilmington point to deliverypoints in the Philadelphia area. Contract terms would be 10 yearsor longer. The earliest possible commencement date for servicewould be July 1, 2001, Columbia said.
