After posting an alert about experiencing excess linepack, Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Thursday. Penalties of $1/Dth were set for daily positive imbalances exceeding a 5% tolerance.

El Paso lifted a Strained Operating Condition for a draft condition late Tuesday after issuing it earlier that day. “Corrective actions by customers with regards to the alignment of takes with scheduled supplies in conjunction with an increase in supply to the EPNG south system as a result of unexpected maintenance on other interconnecting pipelines has increased system line pack to acceptable operating levels,” the pipeline said. A suspension of Interruptible Storage Service was also lifted.

Sea Robin Pipeline said it has been notified that the Sea Robin Gas Processing Plant was expected to be back on-line and processing gas soon. Shippers were being allowed to submit Plant Volume Reduction nominations for Wednesday’s gas day in the evening or IT1 cycles.

While performing annual inspections at Buhl Compressor Station, Northwest discovered engine damage that will require an immediate engine exchange. Beginning Thursday Northwest will bring a single unit on-line each day, which will result in available capacity of 538,000 Dth/d until the exchange is complete. Based on the design capacity of 585,000 Dth/d, the Daily Deficiency Volume will be 47,000 Dth/d. Northwest said it expects the exchange to last through Saturday.
