Florida Gas Transmission kept an Overage Alert Day in place through Saturday before ending it Sunday.
Tennessee reported an emergency repair issue Monday afternoon at Compressor Station 32 near Jasper, TX, saying immediate filter replacements had become necessary. Based on scheduled volumes for Tuesday’s gas day, Tennessee anticipated restricting through a pro-rata portion of Secondary Out of the Path nominations pathed through the station. The pipeline said it expected the outage to last one to three days and that it may be required to restrict through Secondary In the Path services if scheduled volumes should increase. Tennessee also reported Monday it had completed repairs of Unit 2A at Station 820.
Algonquin said that in order to accommodate higher system demand Tuesday, it will begin a maintenance outage of its 30-inch diameter line between the Hanover and Stony Point compressor stations Wednesday and continue it through April 29. As a consequence of this outage, total aggregate capacity under all rate schedules through Stony Point will be reduced to 610,000 Dth/d. Noting that scheduled volumes through Stony Point during the April 12-30, 2007 period varied between 450,000 Dth/d and 930,000 Dth/d, Algonquin said it anticipates that restrictions will be required during the upcoming outage. To ensure system integrity and effectively manage the outage, the pipeline will not allow shippers to use the no-notice component of rate schedules AFT-E and AFT-ES in order to circumvent a restricted or sealed segment. See the bulletin board for a list of alternate flow path options to avoid the Stony Point restriction.
Southern Natural Gas said Saturday it had experienced an unscheduled outage due to third-party damage in the Lake Washington area offshore Louisiana upstream of Toca Compressor Station. In a Sunday update Southern said its personnel isolated the damaged area on the 20-inch diameter Lake Washington Line and restored flow through the 26-inch diameter Lake Washington Loop Line. The workers also restored the line break devices at Huertes Gate Platform, allowing eight offshore receipt points that had to shut in temporarily to resume production, Southern said.
