Destin Pipeline said Monday it is experiencing excessive watervapor in its receipts. According to the Destin tariff, all gasreceived must contain no more than seven pounds of water vapor per1 million cubic feet of gas and no free water. Operators were askedto check their equipment to make sure it is in proper workingorder. Destin said it is gathering data on various locations, andany producer found in violation of the water vapor spec is subjectto being shut in.

Transco plans to move its Transit on the Web bulletin board thisevening from an externally provided IP address (a numeric code thatuniquely identifies a particular computer on the Internet) to aninternal Williams Cos. IP address. This will provide moreflexibility with alternative Internet access, the pipeline said.Although the URL address (an alphanumeric address for a resource orsite on the World Wide Web) of www.transit.twc.com will not change,it may become necessary to access Transit through the new IPaddress: 151.142.255.180. Transco said it is providing the new IPaddress to all Internet service providers, but it could take up to48 hours for the URL address to be updated. If users experiencedifficulty connecting to Transit Wednesday, they should type theabove URL address into their browser’s address field or use the newIP address.

Florida Gas Transmission has tentatively set two maintenanceprojects to begin Nov. 1. Regrouting of two compressor units atStation 7 (St. Landry Parish, LA) is expected to last through Jan.1, 2000. To minimize capacity cuts, work will be done on one unitat a time. Maximum flow during this work will be 300,000 MMbtu/d.In the other project, scheduled for completion Dec. 10, the 18-inchEast White Lake (LA) Lateral will be upgraded. Flow will be limitedto 310,000 MMbtu/d at six meters on the south end
