Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a systemwide high-inventory OFO beyond Tuesday.

As a result of a smart pig inspection conducted in the spring, Transco said it must remove a section of line downstream of the Sabine River in South Louisiana. Starting Thursday Transco will limit nominations to those using primary capacity under Rate Schedule FT for gas received of Compressor Station 40 and delivered downstream of the station. Total scheduled quantities crossing the Sabine River will be limited to 625,000 Dth/d for gas received upstream and delivered downstream of the river. This restriction, which is expected to continue until early August, will affect about 100,000 Dth/d of currently flowing gas, Transco said.

Because mobilization of the contractor is taking longer than expected, Northwest will again delay the start of anomaly investigations between the Pleasant View and La Plata compressor station. The work, originally scheduled to begin on Tuesday of this week and then delayed by one day to Wednesday (see Daily GPI, July 6), now is set to begin Friday and continue through Sept. 7, Northwest said. During the work, available capacity through Pleasant View will be reduced from 352,000 Dth/d to 318,000 Dth/d Monday through Saturday, but will be restored to 352,000 Dth/d on Sundays.
