Pacific Gas & Electric is ending Thursday a high-inventory OFO that had been in effect for the previous two days.
Questar will perform maintenance Thursday on one of the compressors at its Clay Basin Storage facility. In order to facilitate the work, the injection capacity will be reduced to 290,000 Dth/d in all cycles Thursday, with capacity returning to 375,000 Dth/d beginning with Cycle 1 nominations for Friday’s gas day.
NOVA reported completion of unplanned maintenance on the 14-inch diameter Flat Lake Lateral Tuesday, and said the Torlea and Viking Sales meter stations could return to service immediately.
Kern River said it has received notice that maintenance will be performed June 26-28 on Jonah Gas Gathering System upstream of the pipeline’s Pioneer meter. There will be an estimated loss of 90,000 Dth/d at the Pioneer receipt point during this period.
The gas quality issue at the Southern Star-Ford receipt point in Ford County, KS (see Daily GPI, June 15) has been corrected, NGPL said Wednesday. It began accepting nominations for the point again effective with the Intraday 1 cycle for Wednesday’s gas day.
Noting that it had previously scheduled maintenance to replace the starters and relief valves at the Kemmerer (WY) Compressor Station on June 26-29, Northwest says it now will be able to complete this work concurrently with unit inspections and the welding work occurring at the Lava Hot Springs Compressor Station this week. “Therefore, this project will be removed from the maintenance schedule and there will be no anticipated impact to customers,” Northwest said.
Due to a compressor outage, Trunkline reduced backflow capacity at the Kaplan (LA) Station to 225,000 Dth/d Wednesday.
El Paso said maintenance on Wenden Station’s B unit has been completed earlier than expected, and the estimated capacity reduction of 57 MMcf/d for the Havasu Crossover was lifted for Cycle 3 nominations Wednesday.
