Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Friday on its California Gas Transmission system, setting penalties at $1/Dth for exceeding a 16% tolerance on positive daily imbalances.

ANR said Thursday it expects to continue unplanned engine repairs that began May 25 at Sandwich Compressor Station in Illinois in the Northern Fuel Segment (ML-7) through June 15. The pipeline previously had expected the associated operational restriction — it is accepting only Firm Primary nominations through the Sandwich East-CFTP and Sandwich North-CFTP points — to end last Tuesday (see Daily GPI, May 29).

Transco reported being informed by affiliate Williams Field Services (WFS) that maintenance at the cryogenic processing plant operated by WFS near Markham, TX, is expected to cause a plant shutdown from June 4 until June 18. Transco said it will monitor the situation but does not expect the resulting short-term increase in systemwide Btu heating values and C5+ mol% content to have a significant impact on its operations. However, if a customer’s operations are sensitive to Btu fluctuations, the pipeline provides gas quality information for various locations along its system. See the bulletin board for instructions on how to access the data.
