Columbia Gas plans to open a data room at its Charleston, WV, office on May 7 to provide information to producers, marketers and others potentially interested in buying the Inez & Walbridge pipeline system, located in western West Virginia and eastern Kentucky. Inez & Walbridge consists of about 50 miles of pipeline located in Wayne County, WV, and Martin and Lawrence counties in Kentucky. “The assets for sale are primarily gathering facilities and are not part of Columbia Transmission’s core business of high-volume transportation and storage of natural gas,” the pipeline said. “The facilities are used to transport natural gas from production wells in the region to larger transmission pipelines.” Access to the data room will be available through May 25 by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling Lisa Snyder at (304) 357-3233 before May 16. For all other questions, contact Karen Balsimo at (304) 357-3228. Formal bids for the purchase are due by 5 p.m. EDT June 25.
