Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for its California Gas Transmission system, effective Friday. Penalties were $1/Dth for exceeding a 13% daily imbalance tolerance.

Maritimes & Northeast U.S. said Thursday it was requiring all parties to “trend their imbalances towards zero” until further notice.

Tennessee said Thursday initial assessments indicate that it will require several weeks to repair Compressor Station 9’s Unit 5, which has become unavailable to run. Tennessee added that it may be required to restrict services through a pro-rata portion of Secondary Out of Path nominations going through Station 9 during the unit outage.

NOVA reported a potential for IT restrictions at its Alberta Eastern Gate (EGAT) April 9-14 due to planned maintenance at Princess B6 Compressor Station. The EGAT capability could be as low as 7,801 MMcf/d with zero storage withdrawal and seasonal intra-Alberta demand, NOVA said, but withdrawals from storage or reduced intra-Alberta deliveries may increase the EGAT capability depending on the location.

Gulf South expected to complete repairs of a leak on its Index 129 segment south of Edna Compressor Station (see Daily GPI, April 5) and to have all facilities ready for service by 9 a.m. CDT last Friday and said it would confirm nominations with affected operators for the Timely and subsequent cycles for that gas day.

CIG reported taking the Singing Grass Meter Station out of service from last Tuesday through April 11 and said volume at the station has gone to zero during this outage.

Southern Natural Gas said Thursday it had completed repairs to a unit at Pavo Compressor Station in south Georgia a day earlier than expected (see Daily GPI, April 3).

Westcoast restored its imbalance tolerance range to the normal 10% pack/10% draft Thursday after keeping it at zero pack/20% draft for a lengthy period to reduce excess linepack.
