Saying the conditions that led to Wednesday’s issuance of a Strained Operating Condition had abated, CIG lifted the SOC and all accompanying conditions Friday.

Citing “critically low linepack,” Kern River reduced capacity at Veyo Compressor Station to 2,000,000 Dth/d from Saturday through Wednesday of this week. Linepack decreased by 65,000 dekatherms last Thursday despite previous notices of low linepack, the pipeline said. Also, effective last Friday, at any delivery point taking gas in excess of its total scheduled quantity, Kern River would reduce the amount of deliveries for the subsequent day by the amount of excess gas taken on the previous day. This process was to continue until linepack increased to sufficient levels, Kern River said.

Northwest said “slightly warmer weather projections in the Pacific Northwest and adequate nomination realignment” allowed it to end Saturday two entitlements that had begun last Wednesday (see Daily GPI, Nov. 30). While saying it appreciated customer response in realigning supplies and markets during the entitlement period, Northwest reported experiencing a sizable reduction in its balancing account at Jackson Prairie storage facility. “To minimize the possibility of future entitlements, please stay on rate and continue to secure adequate supplies from Sumas supply sources as we continue through the winter heating season,” the pipeline said.

With below-freezing weather forecasted in northern Florida by late in the weekend, Florida Gas Transmission notified market-area customers Friday of the potential that it might issue an Overage Alert Day for an upcoming gas day.

NGPL reported completing compressor repairs Thursday night at Station 302 in Montgomery County, TX and canceled the associated force majeure (see Daily GPI, Dec. 1). As a result, NGPL resumed scheduling Segment 25 of its TexOk Zone to normal capacity to normal capacity effective with Friday’s Intraday 1 cycle.

ANR said a west-to-east capacity constraint through its St. John (IN) Compressor Station due to engine repairs was expected to extend through Sunday (Dec. 3) instead of ending Friday as originally expected (see Daily GPI, Nov. 28).

Dominion will take Jones Station out of service for about three days of maintenance starting Dec. 11, requiring the shut-in of all wells in production bubbles 3205, 3206 and 3207. must be shut-in. The start date was revised after an earlier posting designating Dec. 4. Dominion also will begin maintenance Wednesday at Yellow Creek Station, which will take the station out of service for about two days and require the shut-in of all wells in production bubbles 3208, 3209, 3210, 3211, 3212 and 3213.
