Florida Gas Transmission did not extent an Overage Alert Day beyond Tuesday.

Tennessee said it was informed by plant operator Targa Midstream Services that the Lowry Plant had been given clearance to allow employees to return after a nearby well blowout forced their evacuation Monday (see Daily GPI, Aug. 15). In anticipation that the plant would become operational Wednesday, shippers at Lowry Plant and parties delivering gas to the Seahawk Lac Blanc meter were allowed to submit nominations effective with the Timely cycle for Thursday’s gas day. Prior to the news of the pending plant restart, NGPL reported that the incident cause the interruption of electric supply has been interrupted at its Trunkline Lakeside delivery meter in Cameron Parish, LA, similar to the experience of ANR (see Daily GPI, Aug. 16). NGPL made the point temporarily unavailable Wednesday, but after being notified that commercial power service was expected to return later that afternoon, it lifted a force majeure declaration and said it would resume scheduling deliveries to Trunkline at that location effective with Intraday 2 nominations Wednesday.

Southern Natural Gas reported completing repairs at its Woodcliff Compressor Station on the Wrens-Savannah line in Georgia (see Daily GPI, Aug. 11) and that the unit became available for service Wednesday morning. Capacity to accept receipts from Southern LNG were increased by about 90,000 Dth/d effective with the Intraday 1 scheduling cycle for Wednesday.

Gulf South will begin about five days of maintenance next Tuesday at its Bistineau Storage facility in northwest Louisiana, during which physical injections and withdrawals will not be available. Nominations utilizing the two Bistineau locations will be confirmed and scheduled to the extent that Gulf South is able to use its other facilities to balance the system. To the extent that firm service is interrupted during this period, Gulf South said, it will be claiming force majeure for as long as service cannot be performed due to the maintenance activity.
