A Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System 24-inch line leak at theMustang Island 758 delivery point was confirmed Wednesday morning,causing the shut-in of 17 of the 24 producing blocks connected toMOPS. Shippers and operators were being notified around noonWednesday that the outage, affecting a total of 129,743 MMbtu/d,will last about seven days.

Sonat reported completing maintenance at its East Tennesseedelivery point and lifted the associated force majeure.

Kern River will perform an annual emergency shutdown test forfour hours (8 a.m-noon MDT) Monday at the Painter CompressionStation. KR will be unable to physically receive any supply at thattime from the Painter, Whitney Canyon and Carter Creek meters.Shippers using those meters should contact suppliers to make suresupply and market confirmations match for the day. Inspections ofthe Painter compressor are set for Monday through Thursday, but noshipper impact from that work is expected.

El Paso will shut down the Dimmitt (TX) Station for emergencymaintenance for about 10 hours today. Although the work will cutcapacity of the Plains to Dumas Line 1102 by 100 MMcf/d, remainingcapacity will be more than has been scheduled recently, so noshipper impact is expected.
