Koch Gateway has planned maintenance for today and Friday forits Index 129 segment (West 30-inch mainline in East Texas). Exceptfor gas received and delivered south of Mile Post 98.33 (Koch’sColorado River crossing near the Wharton/Fort Bend County line),all other receipts south of 98.33 will be scheduled to zero. However, at shippers’ request, up to a total of 233,000 MMBtu/d ofdeliveries (the pipeline’s total firm obligation from the area)will be kept whole.

Due to maintenance that began at the first of the month at itsSharon (LA) Compressor Station, TGT is not accepting anynominations through Sept. 20 on its Sharon Carthage System (part ofthe North Louisiana Supply Lateral), or at the Texas Eastern Sharonand PGC Bodcaw meters. Sept. 21-30 maintenance will reduce capacitythrough the Haughton (LA) Compressor Station by about 30 MMcf/d.

Due to an Army Corps of Engineers project to dredge and widenthe Houston Ship Channel, Florida Gas Transmission will spend theentire month of October replacing its 24-inch mainline beneath thechannel. The outage will occur between Mainline Valves 4-5 and 4-6,impacting four major receipt points (Pan Energy, Valero, MOPS andMagnet Withers). The first receipt point available for deliveriesto the Florida market on Oct. 1-3 and Oct. 6-31 only will be NGPLJefferson. Deliveries may be made on an interruptible basis to theTexas City interconnects with HPL and Tejas if pressures allow, butno horsepower will be available. In conjunction with the ShipChannel work, FGT will replace two yard valves at Station 6 (Vidor,TX) Oct. 4-6. That project will require the shut-in of all gasentering the 24-inch mainline upstream of Mainline Valve 6-0, whichwill be closed.

Texas Eastern said the possibility of pipe replacement betweenits Oran (MO) and Lick Creek (IL) compressor stations, mentioned inan Aug. 26 bulletin board posting, will not be necessary. TETCOcrews were able to repair the pipe without any supply restrictions. The pipeline will replace pipe Sept. 20-25 on its Willow SpringsLateral in East Texas, causing a shut-in of five meters on thelateral.
