Florida Gas Transmission did not extend an Overage Alert Day beyond Tuesday.

Northern Natural Gas said it would complete repairs to a leak on the Jal-to-Pinnacle segment of its 26-inch diameter Hobbs Line in Lea County, NM around midday Wednesday and would resume normal nominations there on the Intraday 1 cycle. A force majeure was declared for the segment as the month began (see Daily GPI, March 2).

Northern also said that due to the existing force majeure on the Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System (see Daily GPI, March 2), which it operates, pigging operations cannot be conducted and thus MOPS is now experiencing higher liquids levels. Northern asked producers injecting high volumes of liquids to suspend such activity. Natural gas may continue to flow, but liquids production must be shut in, the pipeline explained. The three points affected by the liquids ban are Matagorda 693-L, Matagorda Island Area 806 #1 State Track and Davis Matagorda Island, Northern said.

Due to falling linepack, NOVA changed its daily imbalance tolerance range to +4/0 Wednesday.
