CIG declared an OFO Saturday because of the extremely cold weather in its market area, then ended it Sunday. Wellhead freeze-offs in the Rockies limited the amount of supply that CIG could deliver to Xcel Energy‘s Public Service Co. of Colorado utility, resulting in rolling power outages of brief duration Saturday (see related story).

Northern Natural Gas kept a System Overrun Limitation for all market-area zones that was implemented last Thursday in place through Sunday before lifting it Monday.

MRT said it will lift a System Protection Warning effective with the start of Wednesday’s gas day.

As of Sunday until further notice, withdrawal capacity from the Clay Basin storage facility to Questar and Northwest was decreased to 600,000 Dth/d. Northwest’s allocation from that volume was 270,000 Dth/d. Clay Basin operator Questar said it worked together with Northwest to determine that capacity due to changing operating conditions.

Columbia Gulf began repairs Sunday to the subsea valve at Vermilion 116 on the 509A-100 Line of the Bluewater System, requiring the shut-in of nine Tennessee meters until further notice (see Daily GPI, Feb. 21).

Lowry Plant operator Targa Midstream has informed Tennessee that compressor maintenance at the plant, previously set to begin last Saturday (see Daily GPI, Feb. 21), has been postponed until further notice. Targa continued to confirm all Lowry volumes to zero through Monday but said it would resume confirming nominated supplies effective with Tuesday’s Timely Cycle. A limit of 80,000 Dth/d at the Lac Blanc/Seahawk meter was lifted Saturday.
