Tennessee said as a result of supply impacts associated with Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, it has received inquiries from shippers regarding alternate supply sources available for receipt into Tennessee. Warning that it was not all-inclusive, Tennessee posted a list of receipt/delivery meters to assist the search for alternate supplies. “The availability of these meters on a daily basis is subject to factors such as gas quality, existing pipeline operating conditions and displacement volumes, if applicable,” the pipeline said.

Tennessee also reported that power was restored to Station 25 in Cleveland, TX and an associated force majeure event ended there Monday. However, Tennessee reminded customers that planned maintenance continues during the month of October and it may limit throughput capabilities on the 100 Line.

Columbia Gas‘s Line KA-1 will be out of service for repair for about one day starting Thursday. Southern Natural Gas reminded customers of shut-in tests scheduled Oct. 4-10 at the Muldon (MS) Storage Facility and Oct. 18-24 at the Bear Creek (LA) Storage Facility. “We are evaluating ways to shorten the storage field shut-in tests,” the pipeline continued. “Currently, we expect to be able to shorten the Muldon shut-in test by [one to three] days. Due to the work requirements at Bear Creek, that test is unlikely to be shortened.” Southern said it will declare force majeure events during each test and will allocate 36% of each CSS customer’s Daily Injection Quantity and Daily Withdrawal Quantity during the Muldon work; the allocation will be 36% for Bear Creek.

Maintenance on Alamo Lake Station’s #2 unit, previously scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday this week, will be done instead for one day only Thursday, El Paso said. The work will reduce Havasu Crossover capacity by 145 MMcf/d from a base capacity of 650 MMcf/d.

Another gas quality problem at the CenterPoint-Hot Springs receipt point in Hot Springs, AR had improved, NGPL said, and it lifted a point constraint effective with Monday’s Intraday 1 nominations cycle.
