Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a high-inventory OFO beyond Friday.

CIG took a compressor at Muddy Gap Station out of service Friday for unscheduled maintenance after detecting excess metal wear, which presented an operational and safety issue that precluded continued operation of the unit, the pipeline said. Repairs have been initiated and are expected to be completed by the end of April. During the force majeure outage, CIG said, capacity of the Wind River Lateral will be limited to 215 MMcf/d. Assuming a continuation of current business levels in that area, the impact to nominated service should be minimal, it added.

Tennessee reported completion of repairs on a Line 524C-600 leak Friday afternoon and said the South Timbalier 54 (55E) meter had been returned to service.

CenterPoint said repairs on Amber Station’s #2 and #3 compressors have been scheduled to begin March 22 and are estimated to last through April 22. This work will limit capacity through the station (West 1 segment) to 350,000 Dth/d. Firm receipt capacity will be curtailed, but the ability to make firm deliveries is not affected, CenterPoint said. Shippers who desire to maintain full firm deliveries were asked to arrange for alternative supplies east of Amber Station.

Transco said results from a smart pig run conducted Wednesday on 62 miles of Main Line A from Station 35 north of Houston to Station 40 in Hardin County, TX (see Daily GPI, March 2) were incomplete, requiring the project to be repeated. The repeat run has been set for Friday and thus will extend by one day the constraints that had already been outlined when this month’s pig runs were originally scheduled (see Daily GPI, Feb. 18).

El Paso postponed maintenance on Dumas Station’s #1 turbine that had been scheduled for March 14-17 until sometime in April. Thus there was no reduction of capacity from Dumas east Friday through Monday, El Paso said.
