Forecasts of cold weather in the northern half of Florida Friday night and Saturday morning prompted Florida Gas Transmission to issue an Overage Alert Day notice for its market area Friday. The notice had 20% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Northern Natural Gas extended Saturday’s System Underrun Limitation for all market-area zones through at least Sunday.

ANR clarified Friday an OFO notice establishing a hydrocarbon dew point limit of 20 degrees F. for Southeast Area receipts during March to say the OFO will run through March 31. A typo in the original notice (see Daily GPI, Feb. 27) had indicated that the order would run through March 1, then become effective again that day.

Florida Gas Transmission has posted three compressor overhauls in Zones 1 and 3 during March that could impact production-area receipts (end dates are tentative). One at Station 3 in Port Lavaca, TX is set for March 4-31, during which FGT will schedule up to about 180,000MMBtu/d through the station (230,000 MMBtu/d is normal). Another overhaul is scheduled March 2-12 at the Transco/St. Helena meter station in St. Helena Parish, LA; about 40,000 MMBtu/d will be scheduled at the station, down 20,000 MMBtu/d from normal. And March 2-19 work will cut capacity at the Tennessee Gas/Carnes meter station in Stone County, MS approximately in half to 30,000MMBtu/d.
