The pig got stuck in the line during pigging of Line 1102, El Paso said Thursday, causing a portion of the line between Plains and Dimmitt Stations to be shut in while the pig is removed. Scheduled pigging for Friday and Saturday was canceled. Capacity from Plains north was cut by 80 MMcf/d to 250 MMcf/d effective with Thursday’s Cycle 3 nominations until further notice. However, under current market conditions, this outage will not affect scheduled deliveries, El Paso said.
Florida Gas Transmission reported completion of unscheduled maintenance on the Chacahoula Lateral in Assumption Parish, LA (see Daily GPI, July 2) and said all points on the lateral were being scheduled at normal levels Thursday.
Northern Natural Gas, noting several force majeure situations recently on its system in the production area, posted a list of segments currently affected by force majeures, affected points within each segment and anticipated return to service dates. See the bulletin board for details.
