Because forest fires are currently active around TransCanada‘s mainline Compressor Station 60 in northern Ontario, as a precaution the pipeline will not operate the Station 60 units until the situation improves. TransCanada said it does not anticipate the need for transportation restrictions unless changes in operational conditions or nomination levels require them.

Northern Natural Gas reported Tuesday experiencing a force majeure situation in the Permian Basin area and said flows will be reduced or shut in at 18 points until further notice. An update will be posted as more information is available. NNG said another force majeure situation occurred at the Spraberry Compressor Station. Deliveries at two points were shut in Monday until further notice.

El Paso rescheduled pigging of Line 1102, saying there will be no more pigging during June. The line’s capacity from Plains north is being adjusted for hotter summer temperatures and set at a maximum of 330 MMcf/d. However, the capacity will be reduced by 120 MMcf/d each day during pig runs July 9 from Plains to Dimmitt, July 11 from Dimmitt to Amarillo and July 12 from Amarillo to Dumas. However, the remaining capacity will be enough to meet demand if scheduled volumes do not change substantially from current operations.

Gulf South said scheduled maintenance at Highway 1046 in St. Helena Parish, LA, related to work on Index 130 (Kosciusko 30-inch line), has been delayed until Thursday due to weather conditions and may require up to 48 hours to complete. Capacity from McComb, MS to Kosciusko, MS will be reduced by 150 MMcf/d during this work.
