Citing forecasts of warmer weather in the state of Florida, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day for its market area Wednesday with 5% tolerance for negative daily imbalances. FGT also said that due to maintenance in progress on its system, it was not scheduling more than 1,850,000 MMBtu/d into the market area for the gas days of Wednesday and Thursday.

El Paso lifted Wednesday morning an Unauthorized Overpull Penalty situation that had been declared Tuesday “due to low linepack and the continued forecast of cold weather in our operating area. We are currently under maximum withdrawal at the Washington Ranch storage facility.” The pipeline also said it had completed Line 1301 pigging between Lincoln and Roswell Stations and increased capacity of the San Juan Crossover to 550 MMcf/d effective with Tuesday’s Cycle 4 nominations.

Texas Eastern canceled Wednesday an OFO regarding storage inventory transfers that was issued Feb. 28 (see Daily GPI, March 3). That left only one minor restriction in place for Thursday: the 24-inch system between the Longview (TX) and Oran (MO) Stations is nominated to capacity and no incremental nominations are being accepted in this area.

Transwestern notified all LFT shippers that Limited Firm Transportation will not be available on the San Juan Lateral for Thursday’s gas day.
