Because of moderating weather in its market area, NGPL canceled Tuesday an advisory posting that took effect Sunday (see Daily GPI, March 10) and limited hourly delivery takes.

Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a systemwide low-linepack OFO beyond Tuesday.

Transco said that in light of moderating temperatures and market loads, it will return scheduling tolerances at all pooling points to return to 4% Wednesday. It also will allow scheduling of make-up delivery (due-shipper) quantities “to the extent that a shipper has excess receipts in that zone.” Also, citing a notice sent out last week that as of Tuesday gas tendered at certain receipt points that did not conform to the pipeline’s merchantability specifications would not be confirmed, Transco said it has been asked “by certain processing plant operators” to delay such action to allow the plants additional time to make arrangements with producers and suppliers. “Transco has agreed to this request and anticipates that points listed on the March 6, 2003 notice will come into compliance.” It will follow up with a posting Wednesday identifying those points that have not complied and are, therefore, subject to refusal.

NGPL said a gas quality problem discovered at the Humble Gas-King Ranch receipt point in Kleberg County, TX, had been resolved and it resumed scheduling nominations there Tuesday. It also said quality problems at the EPGT-Seven Oaks-Polk and HPL-Seven Oaks-Polk receipt points in Polk County, TX had been corrected.
