Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co. LLC (Transco) is ready to place the remainder of its 190,000 Dth/d Rivervale South to Market Project into service as early as Sept. 1, the company said in a filing with FERC Wednesday.

The brownfield project is designed to increase firm transportation service from Transco’s interconnect with the Tennessee Gas Pipeline in Bergen County, NJ, to Transco’s Central Manhattan meter and regulating station in Hudson County, NJ, along with the Station 210 pooling point in Mercer County, NJ.

Transco in 2017 filed for a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission certificate for the project, which disclosed firm transportation agreements with Direct Energy Business Marketing LLC and UGI Energy Services LLC for the capacity.

Transco received approval to start partial path interim service on the project earlier this year, FERC documents showed. The latest filing seeks approval to place the remaining facilities into service, including 0.61 miles of 42-inch diameter pipeline looping along Transco’s Mainline A in Bergen County.
