The Calgary independent has paid about $1.1 billion for five deals across the Clearwater area, which is northeast of Alberta. The latest was in September, when it bought Deltastream Energy Corp.

“During the third quarter, we delivered positive operating and financial results,” said CEO Brian Schmidt. “The acquisition of Deltastream further solidifies Tamarack as the largest producer in the Clearwater.”
