Patrick Rau, CFA, Director, Strategy & Research oversees general strategy, fundamental market research and product development for NGI. In this role, he created NGI’s three newest services: Shale Daily, Mexico Gas Price Index and LNG Insight. Overall, he has more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, including time spent as both a sell-side and buy-side natural gas analyst on Wall Street, and as a financial analyst for the Amerada Hess Corporation. Mr. Rau holds a B.A. in Economics from the College of William & Mary, an M.B.A. in Finance from Georgetown University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Ruth Liao is Americas editor for LNG at ICIS. Her news and analysis includes short-term commodity pricing and long-term project development that can be found in LNG Markets Daily, Global LNG Markets and on the market intelligence and analytics platform LNG Edge. Ruth covers project developments and market trends for North and South America on LNG and has analysed the increasing interconnection of global LNG markets, particularly between the US, Europe and Asia.
Tom Marzec-Manser is the Head of Global Gas Analytics at ICIS, specialising in global natural gas fundamentals. Since the start of 2019 he has worked on the ICIS LNG Edge platform which provides pre-trade analysis to market participants. As ICIS has expanded its predictive capabilities in LNG, Tom has focused on forecasting gas and LNG consumption and flows across Europe and Asia. He is also an active media commentator on Russian pipe exports.
Leticia Gonzales joined Natural Gas Intelligence as a markets contributor in 2014 after nine years at S&P Global Platts, where she was involved in producing the daily and forward price indexes for U.S. electricity and natural gas markets. She joined NGI full time in 2019 to cover North American natural gas markets and news and in 2021 was appointed Price & Markets Editor. In this role, Leticia oversees NGI's Daily Gas Price Index, including the process for calculating, monitoring, and publishing its natural gas daily prices.
