Sempra appeared to be further away on Tuesday from making an announcement on the sale of the bank’s share, which Sempra has first-rights to obtain itself.

The flurry of new wind power project developments continued unabated last week, with AES Corp. entering into a joint venture (JV) to develop wind generation projects in New York state and FPL Energy LLC and ScottishPower unveiling new wind power projects that will be built in Texas and New York, respectively.

The cash market’s slide continued unabated in post-weekend trading, with some points plumbing depths they had not seen in nearly a year and a half. Declines tended to be smallest at Rockies/San Juan and California points because temperatures were getting hotter in the region again, especially in the desert Southwest where highs topped 100 degrees.
